Content
Digital Technologies are continuously evolving. They affect people, organizations, industries and society. The basic premise of this course is that digital technologies are rapidly transforming not only the way how we live and work, but also how companies are organized and innovate, and the fundamental nature of a wide range of industries. This opens new perspectives, opportunities but also challenges for economic development. Therefore entrepreneurs, managers, policy makers and technology experts need to understand the business implications, technology paradigms, changing customer needs and management practices of innovations in the digital era. The goal of this course is to provide a deeper understanding of key concepts of digital innovation. Students will learn how to conceive and contribute to digital innovation initiatives and reflect them critically.
